In our last article “Why it’s Strategic to Walk in the Spirit” we saw why it’s important to surrender ourselves to the Lord and follow His Will for our lives. We also saw the two major factors of how we as Christians help to fulfill our Heavenly Father’s Will to bring lost souls to Jesus. Both factors had us walking daily in the Spirit with the Holy Spirit leading our direction with us being the subordinate.
In the first factor, we saw that we are ambassadors for Christ in order that the lost may come to have an understanding of what Jesus Christ did for them on the cross and how he offers them the gift of salvation. (Romans 10:9, Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 2:38) After people come to Jesus, the ambassadors help disciple them, as they are like babies in Christ needing spiritual milk of the word in order that they may grow in their relationship with Jesus. (1 Peter 2:2)
The second major factor was that we as Christians should be engaging the enemy relentlessly in spiritual warfare since he is the one scheming against Christians and blinds the minds of unbelievers, so they cannot see the light of the gospel in Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:4) Our spiritual enemy hates when we bring souls to Jesus as they scheme against us as Christians. (1 Peter 5:8, Ephesians 6:11)
We have Jesus’s promise to us as believers that we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us, and that he has given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt us. (Philippians 4:13, Luke 10:19)
Today, we are going to place emphasis on the spiritual warfare aspect through different offense prayers we could use against the enemy. This lets us be spiritually useful to the Lord, and we should press in against the enemy daily in order that more people can come to the knowledge and salvation in Jesus Christ. Let’s get started!
Spiritual Warfare Prayers to Use Against the Enemy
These prayers should be used often and made part of your daily prayer life. After all, our goal should be to put the Heavenly Fathers will first, and to be spiritually useful for his kingdom. It’s important to remember that there is great power when two or more are gathered for prayer in agreement as Christ is standing with us in that agreement. (Matthew 18:19-20)
As a soldier of Jesus Christ we should endure hardness, and not focus on the affairs of this life, but strive to please the Lord mentioned in 2 Timothy 2:3-4, while keeping every thought obedient to Christ as mentioned in 2 Corinthians 10:5. We need to press the attack against our spiritual enemy without ceasing.
As Christians must always remember the position of the cross in regards to Romans 6:11, being ourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Jesus Christ. We have already died and have been delivered from the old creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17) Our spiritual enemy cannot do anything in our lives when we stand on this promise as our spiritual enemy does not have authority over a dead person.

We also have prayers and commands that counter the enemy if they may attack you in your dreams or through the course of your natural day, which we will cover at the end.
Prayers
Heavenly Father,
I lift up the body of Christ that it may walk in all truth according to your scriptures. I thank you that Your Son has paid the price on the cross for our sins and has given us eternal life, and we are all new creations in Christ according to John 3:16, Romans 10:9, 2 Corinthians 5:17. Thank you that you have sealed us with your Holy Spirit as a promise of your salvation according to Ephesians 1:13. Thank you that we grow in Your Word daily to live a holy life and honor you with bodies while not being conformed to this world according to Romans 12:1-2.
Thank you that we follow Christ, and we don’t follow the lusts of the world, but Your Will alone. Let us set our affection on things above, not for the things of this earth according to 1 Peter 4:1-2; Colossians 3:1-2. Thank you we can always abide in You and in Your words while bearing fruit for your kingdom to glorify You, for apart from You, we are nothing according to John 15:4-9.
Thank you that holiness is Christ in me, and that we go forth as ambassadors for Christ. Thank you that we may increase in the fruit of the Holy Spirit according to 2 Corinthians 5:20-21, Galatians 5:22-23. Thank you we are spiritually useful to you and strive to share and share the good news about Jesus from Matthew 28:19-20.
Let us put on the full armor of God daily and give us discernment of how to recognize the schemes and traps of the enemy. As our foe is not of flesh and blood, but principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places according to Ephesians 6:11-12. Let us also be as wise as serpents, but as harmless as doves according to Matthew 10:16.
Thank you that you give revelation to your saints and that the Church would weigh all revelation based upon Your scripture according to 1 Thessalonians 5:21. Thank you that we believe not every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are from You based on 1 John 4:1-6. Thank you that any false information that the enemy tries to sew into the church that causes fear, doubt, or division that goes against scripture is cast out.

Heavenly Father,
Destroy every stronghold the enemy has placed in every part of your creation. Destroy the veil of darkness that the enemy has used to blind the minds of men, so they can see the light and truth of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ, who is the image of God, so it shines unto them.
Sow discord among the enemy and his ranks, disarm them of their tactics, strip them of their knowledge, strip them of their uniqueness, destroy their plans, destroy all forms of witchcraft and the effects thereof, destroy the petitions of the enemy and destroy any plans to steal, kill, or destroy souls worldwide. Destroy every camp and strategic place of the enemy throughout your creation with brimstone and fire from the lake of fire anointed with the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father,
We praise you for the beauty of your holiness. We praise you for your mercy as it reigns now and forever, and give you thanks for all that you have done for us in our lives. Place a hedge of angels around (my house, your saints) just like you did with your servant Job in the book of Job 1:10. Lord place ambushes against the enemy when they come against (myself, your saints, etc.) that you would turn the enemy’s camp against one another, so they destroy one another like what happened in 2 Chronicles 20:22-23.

Heavenly Father,
Destroy every form of man-made deception, imaginations, and the doctrines of demons that have infiltrated your church mentioned in 1 Timothy 4:1-3 and 1 John 4:1. Bind, blind and mute every demonic spirit that is giving any false revelations in your church.
Those who are led astray, (I, we) lose the Holy Spirit upon those who are led by false doctrine to wake up to the truth that they are walking in darkness. Expose the lies of the enemy with your scripture and open the eyes of those who are yours to come out from these places. Let your people come back to you in repentance not letting them fall into the deception of false doctrines again.

Heavenly Father,
I would ask that you would protect me and my family from all demons and demonic influences and that you would confuse the enemy’s communications and send your mighty angels to do battle on my behalf defeating the enemy concerning my situation. Thank you for destroying any demonic assignments placed against (me, us, body of Christ) and the effects thereof. Defeat the enemy in the lives of those he is using to destroy or harass me.

Demonic Attacks through Dreams
Heavenly Father,
Since you can see everything everywhere, you know which demons attacked me in my dream(s) last night. These demons are to be bound in Jesus name and brought before your throne by your mighty angels to be cast into the lake of fire before their appointed judgment mentioned in Revelation 20:10-15.
In Jesus name, and by his blood, I pray. Amen.
Commands to Use Against Demons
“In the name of Jesus, any demons that plan to attack me, you are to be bound, blinded in muted in Jesus name to be brought to the Heavenly Fathers throne to have judgment passed on you immediately to be cast into the lake of fire before your appointed time mentioned in Revelation 20:10-15.”
“In the name of Jesus, any and all demons that attacked me are to be bound, blinded, and muted in the shed blood name of Jesus and brought before the Heavenly Father’s throne to be cast into the lake of fire mentioned in Revelation 20:10-15 before their appointed judgment.”

Final Thoughts
As the body of Christ, we have to remember that to live a spiritual life is to live in constant warfare. To remove warfare from a spiritual life is to render it unspiritual. We have to press into the Lord for strength, living our lives outpoured entirely for His Kingdom. In this process, we have to remember to die to ourselves daily and live in spiritual usefulness to mount assault upon assault against the demonic realm. Let us remember to be zealous for the Lord relentlessly attacking the enemy and never allowing our own spirit to fall into passivity.
When we press upon the enemy with our spiritual warfare, don’t show any pity for the enemy as their job is to kill, steal, and destroy. (John 10:10) There shall be no mercy for them as we are doing our Heavenly Father’s will to win souls, and this is all-out war!
Take strength in Jesus’s promise to us as believers that we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us, and that he has given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt us. (Philippians 4:13, Luke 10:19)
